In those bleak moments when the lost souls stood atop the cliff, wondering whether to jump, the sound of the wind and the waves was broken by a soft voice. “Why don’t you come and have a cup of tea?” the stranger would ask.

Oh, god. Please read this! There are literally tears on my face.
So ahhh..
Things I hear right now: degu wheel, birds, one of my neighbours hockin’ up a sweet lugey (loogy? what the fuck, what a stupid word). Anyway, I just got off work and my feet are KILLING me; on my way out the door I managed to set off the security alarm so that’s cool, I peeled out right after it happened, I hope I wasn’t supposed to stay or anything because I am sure I will get...

TUTTER:: Have you heard of Lake Peigneur? →
It was a lake on an island in Louisiana. Beneath was a salt mine and above it an exploratory drilling rig. The rig accidentally pierced the mines in the 80’s, creating a vortex that sunk the oil rig completely which was odd because the lake itself was only 10 feet deep. The water surging…

The past few days have been really weird; memories of the way my mind worked in high school because it’s starting to act that way again. It’s a stasis - there is no forward or backward. I am just standing on this line planning for things that I don’t really feel like I want. I guess it’s a typical 20-something thing to be directionless. I’m working this awful job, I...

Digital Moleskine: I sat in my car as the sun set... →
I sat in my car as the sun set over the mall. The light picked up all of the dust on my windshield and turned my world soft and grainy. I stared at the restaurant directly in front of me. A kid, like five or six, was wearing a cowboy hat and boots. He was jumping up and down in front of his family…
Another circumstance, too, worried me those days: that there was no one like me...

well hey
First and foremost, I think it is father’s day today. If that is actually the case I advise all of you who are fortunate enough to still be able to spend time with your fathers to really appreciate them today! (and every day but ESPECIALLY TODAY!) God knows I’d love for my dad to still be around so I could write him a cheesy card (and of course for a multitude of other reasons but that...
Digital Moleskine: You would kiss me on the neck... →
You would kiss me on the neck in your Jeep when you dropped me off. I was poor and car-less, which made me feel like a real son of a bitch. But you never seemed to mind driving me places. You’d tell me, “Let me be your wings” and then look down nervously and smile. You couldn’t hold my eyes, and…
What's been goin' on
house was full of people for about 6 days, 3 nights of complaining about our taste in music, a boring mushroom trip, peacocks and a playground, 3 nights of hip hop and too much weed, I know the Mario Kart 64 tracks like the back of my hand, a bottle of Sleeman’s at Big Bad John’s, a terrible paycheque and a seared ahi tuna burger, my room smells like rodents, we spotted a mouse running...

Digital Moleskine: The sun sank into the ocean and... →
The sun sank into the ocean and we galloped toward the shore. I had a bottle of whiskey in my hand, while a mouthful busted up my senses; kindling for the fire. Someone behind me yelled for the bottle, so I tossed it high into the air and we all whooped as he caught it easily. We were gleeful, ran…

employment?
So, as some of you may know, I am employed as an overnighter at McDonald’s right now. It is a pretty ridiculous job, but since I work from 10 PM to 6 AM 40 hours a week, I get to run into some pretty zany people.
I’ve started THIS BLOG to chronicle the abnormal things I experience during my shift. If you think it’s entertaining, follow me for more beautiful, excellent, superb...
